HRIS Consultants / HR & Payroll Systems Project Managers
We work with customers across a range of industries and jurisdictions to support them with their HRIS journeys. Working completely independently from any vendor you will support them with any part of their HRIS implementation from requirements-gathering right through to post go-live support.
Your role will be to guide the customer throughout their project, using your knowledge of both HR and project management, to ensure their system implementation goes smoothly, to plan, and within budget.
Where possible, you will be dedicated to a client from start to finish, working on-site, to really get to know them and support them in the best way possible. Our projects last anywhere from 3 months to 2 years so you really will become part of the team.
You must be willing to get your hands dirty. Our customers want advice but also need hands-on support with every stage of the project, and that will include writing business cases, data migration activities and writing training plans. Your HR knowledge will help you to challenge current ways of thinking but also to understand the context within which you are working.
We are happy to work with customers from any industry or any size but particularly specialise in supporting mid-size global firms, with 500-5000 employees. Therefore, you need to have experience of implementing HR software in companies of this size and complexity or be willing to learn.
Your skills and experience
You must be a people person. You will need to fully integrate into the business and get to know how they work and what they want to achieve. The only way to do this is to make friends and influence people, so your communication skills must be exceptional.
Whilst full training will be given, you must have experience of implementing cloud-based HR systems, ideally globally, in a number of organisations. It is essential you have been involved or managed selection processes, writing RFPs, developing project plans, data migration plans, test scripts and communications plans.
We work independently, so you must be willing to work and learn about a number of HR systems, but also to keep up to date with developments in the market. It is important we understand the latest technology and new versions of software so that we can advise correctly.
- Ideally, Prince 2 or APMP qualified
- Ideally, CIPD qualified
- Advanced Excel skills (including v-lookups) are a must
- Report writing skills must be to a high standard
Working with us
We are a small, but growing, HRIS consultancy who work closely together. Whilst you will be primarily based at a client site you will be fully supported by the entire team and have access to a number of opportunities for development and shadowing to learn new skills or technology. You will receive full guidance from beginning to end from others at Silver Cloud.
