Helen Armstrong, Managing Director
With approximately 15 years of HR and HRIS experience, Helen founded Silver Cloud HR in 2009 after seeing a demand in the market for more boutique and cost-effective HRIS consultancy.
Since then Helen has worked with many global companies to automate HR processes through technology and continues to oversee all projects personally. Well regarded in the HRIS community, Helen has a BSC in Psychology, is a member of the CIPD and is also APMP Project Management qualified.
She is extremely passionate about supporting Women in Technology initiatives and outside of work, is Chair of Governors for a local primary school in Essex where she lives with her husband, two girls and her dog.
When not at work, Helen is normally found in the gym.
Claire McCourt, Head of Operations
A passionate 'people person', Claire first met Helen whilst heading up the HR shared service centre at a magic circle law firm where Silver Cloud HR was running a project. She has many years' experience in process-mapping and process improvement for UK based and global firms.
Claire is responsible for the day to day running of Silver Cloud HR, including team management and client liaison.
Any downtime is spent running after her two young boys and dreaming of when she had time to visit exotic places, go to spas and indulge in shoe shopping!
Chris Holttum, HRIS implementation Consultant
Chris has worked in HR for 15 years, specialising in HR systems for more than 12 of these. He has managed multiple system implementations, including payroll, training and recruitment software, as well as core HR.
Uniquely, he also has experience in SQL Database administration, giving him an in-depth understanding of the technology behind HR systems. Recent work in Business Intelligence has expanded his knowledge of analytics, data warehousing and system integration.
Chris is passionate about automation and data, and making the best use of both to streamline processes and understand your business.
When he’s not at work, Chris has his hands full with two small children most of the time. When he does get some time to himself, he like to spend it riding his motorcycle or playing guitar with his band.
Lauren Coldwell, HRIS Consultant
Lauren is PRINCE2 qualified and has worked on HR system implementation projects over the last 5 years, supporting and coordinating the full project lifecycle. She has delivered on UK based and global projects across various different industries.
Highly experienced at capturing requirements, process-mapping, managing test cycles and delivering end-user training, Lauren enjoys improving processes and is dedicated to delivering a system that is fit for purpose.
Sarah Lang, HRIS Implementation Consultant
Sarah joined Silver Cloud HR in the summer of 2017 and has so far been involved in over 10 implementation projects as a Sage People implementation partner.
Throughout her consultancy career, Sarah has worked with a range of HR software vendors including Cascade HR, PeopleSoft and SuccessFactors across a diverse range of industries from Book Publishing and Distribution to Finance and Digital Marketing.
Starting out in HR Administration has helped her understand the full employee life-cycle and how companies can benefit by investing in new HR technology.
Outside of work Sarah enjoys travelling as much as possible, trying to keep fit, watching live music and singing whenever she can!
Emma Bowden, HRIS implementation Consultant
Emma has over 6 years' HR experience across various industries, including Public Services, Marketing & Utilities.
With a passion for improving HR functions by introducing new processes and finding innovative solutions to problems, Emma is in the final year of her CIPD qualification, giving her a full understanding of the immense value HR systems can bring to businesses.
Emma has experience of managing HR functions as well as implementing systems from vendors including SelectHR and PeopleHR.
She is a hobby breeder of British Shorthair cats and also likes to go fishing with her partner (when it's warm enough!).
Laura Fulton, HRIS Implementation Administrator
With 15 years HR Administration experience in a variety of roles, ranging from a sole trader retailer to a large Police Service, Laura has developed a sound knowledge of the whole employee life cycle.
Alongside a passion for HRIS, Laura has experience in several HR systems and a particular interest in HR Analysis.Outside of work Laura is a keen singer and is a member of a local choir. She also enjoys a number of crafts including making her own jewellery and dressmaking.
Tom Fisher, HRIS Project Manager
As an experienced HR professional, Tom occupied a number of HR Management positions in the Energy and IT Sectors before moving into HRIS Consultancy in 2005. Since then he has worked on various HRIS projects including in Construction & Property Services, Oil and Gas and Digital Media. He is currently leading the Church of England’s project to review and renew their People System.
Tom is a Chartered Member of the CIPD. Outside of work, his family and his big passion, sailing, take up most of his spare time.
In August 2017 he returned to the UK having completed a circuit of the Atlantic via the Canaries, the Cape Verde Islands, the Caribbean, Cuba, Bermuda and the Azores"
Peter Kenworthy, HRIS Project Manager
Peter has worked in HR for over 20 years and has run his own HR consultancy for the last 10 years, starting as a generalist and then focussing on HR systems implementations. After qualifying in PRINCE2 Agile project management, Peter added Business Analysis to his skill base. His passion is to use technology and systems to allow HR teams to spend more time being strategic and adding value to their business. Peter is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD.
Peter started as an Agricultural Economist in Tanzania before moving into HR. On the days away from the computer screen, Peter and his family manage an ancient woodland in rural Essex.
Louise Bhatia, HRIS Project Manager
Louise is a CIPD qualified, HR generalist with over 10 years’ experience across both recruitment and HR partnering. During this time, she has worked on a number of HRIS implementations with several leading suppliers, including Northgate Arinso, Select HR and Core HR.
Passionate about delivering a system that is fit for purpose, Louise combines her HR and project experience to deliver the full lifecycle of a project, from requirements-gathering to end-user training.
She has worked across several industries which include, pharmaceuticals, engineering and scientific research.
