A global law firm employing over 1100 people worldwide, our client had no global HR system and all offices outside of the UK were working from spreadsheets.
UK payroll was run with an extensive amount of duplication and manual processes, while global reporting was manual and very time-consuming. There were no integrations to other business systems, no self-service in place and therefore HR was heavily administrative, leaving them unable to focus on more strategic initiatives.
Silver Cloud was chosen to support the selection and implementation of the firm's new global HR and payroll platform. We provided a full-time project manager to work across all locations to gather requirements and support the client through an RFP process to select an integrated HR and payroll system.
In addition, their dedicated Silver Cloud Project Manager also supported them through the selection of a learning management platform and new BACS software. Our consultants managed the full end-to-end RFP and implementation process into all countries.
We continue to work alongside this law firm today to support them with training, data reconciliation, new functionality and upgrades of their systems.
The project was delivered within budget and on time taking 12 months to select and implement. All countries went live with self-service within a 2-week period and now manage their own data.
An integrated payroll module for the UK meant that double entry of data was eliminated, and many processes automated. Data feeds, via Intapp, were built to feed all other systems including Active Directory and the new PMS, Aderant.
Employees were able to access their payslips within their own CoreHR portal and payroll was brought back in-house whilst reducing time spent on payroll processes.
Silver Cloud was also able to build a dashboard of reports for both HR and other parts of the Firm which meant that data could be accessed via self-service and access controlled.
