Silver Cloud is seeking a commercially astute, results-oriented Head of Client Transformation to lead and scale our consulting practice. This pivotal role is responsible for the overall operations and P&L of our Client Transformation Team (CTT), ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery of strategic consulting services to our clients.
As a core member of the Senior Management Team (SMT), you will drive growth, enable operational excellence, and nurture a high-performing culture, aligned with our ethos of ‘We Consult Differently’. You will be instrumental in building a resilient, scalable consulting model that delivers tangible value to clients while supporting Silver Cloud’s broader business goals.
- The role reports to the Chief Operations Officer (COO)
- Remote-first, with travel to client sites, company events and industry engagements as required
- 37.5 hours, 5 days per week
- Utilisation billable target: 20%
Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
- Lead, coach and inspire a team of consultants to deliver exceptional results for our clients and the business.
- Take full ownership of the consulting practice, including performance, quality, innovation, operational efficiency, and profitability.
- Translate Silver Cloud’s strategy into actionable team plans, ensuring alignment across all consulting activities.
- Model calm, decisive leadership during ambiguity or client escalations, supporting the team with clear direction and reassurance.
Client Success & Relationship Management
- Act as an executive sponsor and escalation point across key accounts, building deep, trusted relationships.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance client value through strategic insights and new service offerings.
- Ensure clients consistently receive an experience aligned with our values and differentiators.
Project & Delivery Oversight
- Oversee the successful execution of multiple, concurrent consulting engagements.
- Drive excellence in project scoping, resourcing, risk management, and delivery.
- Champion consistent methodologies, frameworks, and reporting to improve quality and repeatability.
- Lead lessons learned reviews and facilitate knowledge-sharing across the team to drive continuous improvement.
P&L Ownership
- Accountable for financial performance of the consulting division, including forecasting, resource planning and profitability management.
- Deliver against utilisation targets while balancing team wellbeing and client satisfaction.
- Track project financials, ensuring cost control and alignment with business objectives.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Embed a culture of continuous learning and innovation, ensuring we stay ahead of industry trends.
- Refine and evolve our consulting offerings, service design and delivery models in line with client needs and market shifts.
- Act as an innovation leader within the business, championing new technologies including AI, automation, and data-driven decision-making that enhance HR service delivery.
- Lead the development of tools, frameworks, and training programmes that scale consulting excellence and embed best practice across the business.
Business Development & Market Engagement
- Partner with the COO and commercial team to shape go-to-market strategies and secure new business.
- Support proposal development and pitch delivery where strategic value or leadership input is required.

- Represent Silver Cloud at industry events, partner forums and client meetings.
Skills and requirements
- Proven experience in a senior consulting leadership role, within HR transformation or technology consulting.
- Demonstrable success in owning a practice area/department, including P&L accountability and scaling a team or function.
- Deep understanding of consulting frameworks, stakeholder management and service delivery excellence.
- Outstanding people leadership skills, with a track record of developing talent and building engaged, high-performing teams.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to balance billable delivery with strategic planning and business operations.
- Exceptional client-facing skills – credible, articulate, and solutions-oriented.
- Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft 365, Copilot, Power BI, Microsoft Project or similar for project and performance reporting is advantageous.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP) desirable but not essential.
