What is Dayforce Studio?

Dayforce Studio is a toolkit for extending and customising Dayforce beyond what standard configuration allows. If your organisation has needs the core platform does not cover out of the box, Studio is how you build for them — securely, and without starting from scratch.

What is in the toolkit

Dayforce Studio brings together four main tools:

Integration Studio — connect Dayforce to your other systems using low-code and no-code tools, pre-built connectors and APIs, so HR, payroll, benefits and third-party systems share data cleanly.
Data Studio — manage, transform and securely expose your workforce data for reporting and analytics.
Page builder — personalise the experience with configurable pages and interfaces.
Orchestrator — co-ordinate processes across systems, workflows and services for greater agility.

What you can do with it

Studio lets your internal team, an implementation partner or a trusted system integrator build tailored extensions — custom objects, interfaces, logic and workflows — using standardised, enterprise-grade tools. There is also Dayforce Studio Services, where Dayforce’s own specialists build tailored solutions for needs that go beyond standard configuration — useful when you want the outcome without building it in-house.

Who it is for

Studio comes into its own for larger or more complex organisations: those with unusual processes, strict compliance needs, or a busy landscape of surrounding systems. If your requirements are fairly standard, you may never need it — and that is fine.
