What modules and products does Dayforce include?
One of the things people find confusing about Dayforce is working out where one product ends and the next begins. Here is a clear map of the suite, grouped the way Dayforce groups it.
Every Dayforce customer starts with the Platform. This is the core that everything else plugs into, and it includes your people data, organisation structure and position management, security and single sign-on, workflows and forms, document management, reporting, the mobile apps, and the integration tools that connect Dayforce to your other systems. The employee experience Hub — a branded home for news, content and self-service — also sits here.

Workforce Management
Tools for planning and managing frontline and shift-based teams: budgeting, scheduling, time and attendance, time clocks, and absence management. And if you get Advanced Workforce Management, you'll also have access to demand forecasting and labour planning. We cover this in what is Dayforce Workforce Management.
Talent
Dayforce splits talent into three areas:
- Talent Acquisition — recruiting, onboarding, reference checks and video interviews.
- Talent Management — performance, compensation, engagement and succession planning.
- Talent Development — learning, career planning and learning content.
Planning, Analytics and AI
- People Analytics — reporting and insight across your workforce data.
- Strategic Workforce Planning — scenario modelling for the shape, cost and skills of your future workforce. See what is Dayforce Strategic Workforce Planning.
- AI features — an AI assistant and a growing set of AI agents built into the platform.
Extending the platform
- Dayforce Studio — a toolkit for building custom integrations, pages, data flows and workflows. See what is Dayforce Studio.
- Flex Work — a system for managing contingent and agency labour. See what is Dayforce Flex Work.
You do not have to buy everything. Most organisations start with the Platform plus the areas where their current setup hurts most — often Payroll and Workforce Management — and add others over time. Choosing the right starting scope is one of the most important decisions you will make, because it shapes both your cost and the value you get back.
