About Melanie

Originally from Vratsa, a small mountain town in Bulgaria, Melanie moved to the UK to study at the University of Greenwich, where she completed both her undergraduate degree and a CIPD-accredited Master's in Human Resource Management.

Melanie's professional journey began in fast-paced, creative environments in fintech and media where she quickly developed a hands-on understanding of modern HR systems.

While at Little Dot Studios, Mel played a key role in supporting the implementation of HiBob across multiple regions. This led to a promotion to People Operations Advisor and HR Systems Lead, a role where she oversaw system optimisation and process improvement initiatives.

Now, as an HRIS Consultant at Silver Cloud, Mel specialises in HiBob implementations. Leading projects from start to finish, serving as the main client contact, managing data migration, delivering training, and ensuring user adoption.

Mel also drives continuous improvement, supports business development, and collaborates closely with both internal teams and HiBob stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.

Mel is also an official HiBob Workforce Planning Module champion - that means you can ask her anything about it and she'll be able to talk it through with you.

More About Mel

Mel is originally from Vratsa, a small mountain town in Bulgaria. Growing up surrounded by natural beauty sparked a lifelong passion for hiking, nature, and the outdoors. Every winter, she makes it a point to return home for ski season. She currently lives in West Sussex, while the rest of her family lives in Bulgaria.

She enjoys reading (about 30 books a year) and Bulgarian folk dancing (attending weekly classes with a group in Brighton).
