Paylocity
Starting off as a payroll company, Paylocity is further extending its capabilities to include end-to-end HCM solutions, catering not just to small companies of between 20 and 50 employees, but also to mid-market organisations of up to 500. Recently, they have also seen interest from companies over 500 employees who are increasingly selecting Paylocity as their vendor of choice.
The company has also recently announced the acquisition of VidGrid, a leading video platform provider which enables peer-to-peer video learning courses. Paylocity has worked with VidGrid for several years to deliver a video-enabled learning management system (LMS) to clients.
SAP SuccessFactors
SAP has announced that they are building new integrations with Microsoft Teams for SuccessFactors, alongside other SAP solutions including S/4HANA and SAP Customer Experience. Launch is planned for delivery in mid 2021 with integrations designed to encourage growth of the ‘frictionless enterprise’.
BrightHR
BrightHR has introduced a free online vaccine tracker, VaccTrack, designed to help organisations ensure their workplace is safe to reopen again and employees can get back to work as safely as possible.
It enables employers to keep track of who’s had the COVID-19 vaccine in the business with features including:
- Covid 19 vaccination logs
- VaccTrack ‘passes’ for employees
- Resource library
- Vaccine awareness e-learning courses and resource library

Xero
Cloud based accounting software provider Xero, has purchased workforce management platform Planday – expanding its reach beyond small business bookkeepers.
Planday is a platform that aims to simplify employee scheduling by enabling businesses to forecast and manage their labour costs. Their online staff rota software is designed to save time with features including scheduling, communication, time tracking and HR management solutions.
Simply Brilliance
Simply Brilliance is an innovative new platform created to allow learning and development providers to connect with interested professionals. Called Standout ® coaching intelligence, the tool integrates customised insights into conversations between employees and managers, based on an individual’s strengths and what information they share with the platform during check-ins.
The insights, which are provided as talking points to the manager involved in the discussions, help managers to take action and provide feedback and guidance that’s relevant to each team member.
