A global financial services provider approached Silver Cloud to support them in conducting a digital review of their Payroll solution. Operating globally, they had a number of outsourced bureau and managed service arrangements in place and needed our input to see how and where processes could be optimised and how they could gain greater insights into their group level data. In particular, they were looking to:
- Reduce manual interventions
- Improve integrations with their HRIS and Benefit providers
- Optimise processes to support future growth
Silver Cloud facilitated a series of four remote workshops to review the current process and enable Silver Cloud to produce a full Payroll strategic review, which will help the Head of HR Shared Services plan their wider Payroll strategy. This was achieved by focusing on the vision, current technology provision, current effectiveness of HR operations facilitated by the HR technology and willingness to change.
During the sessions, our consultants spent time with the Head of HR Shared Services, the global payroll, HR and benefits teams to understand their current system perceptions and to identify their requirements for improvements and understand the current use of technology, identifying constraints and challenges.
Silver Cloud put forward a series of three, fully appraised options for the client to consider as next steps, together with their recommended approach of aligning their service provision globally.
