Silver Cloud HR were approached to provide a full end-to-end digital review, selection and implementation of HRIS, benefits platform and a learning management system (LMS).

In addition, Silver Cloud provided training to the end-users once the system had been deployed.

The Challenge

With 300 employees spread across the UK, this Life Sciences organisation had an HR & Payroll solution that was no longer fit for purpose.

Recruitment and onboarding were manual which was time consuming and did not provide a good impression for new employees, while the disjointed recruitment potentially introduced GDPR risk due to candidate details being logged outside of a secure system.

Most other HR processes were managed in spreadsheets with no workflow automation resulting in an increased risk of user error, missing data and inefficient use of time.

Furthermore, there was limited or no integration with other key 3rd party applications meaning that data was having to be manually re-keyed.

The Process

Silver Cloud supported the Ceridian deployment with specialist 'client-side' support for payroll reconciliations and for organisational readiness (training of end-users).

The Results

Search to deployment took 11 months and the project was successfully delivered on time and on budget. Payroll went live in time for Christmas pay 2020 and employees benefit from a phase one, operational self-service portal.
