Dave began his payroll career in 1985 and during his time in his first role, Dave became Payroll Manager and migrated payroll from IBM mainframe to KSC payroll software.

Dave then moved to the KCS helpdesk as Helpdesk Support Consultant in 1993 where he remained for 24 years, progressing through numerous roles including consultancy, training, quality assurance and eventually becoming Helpdesk Manager. Dave then moved to a Helpdesk Manager for another payroll software house where he remained for four and a half years but realised he wanted to get back to frontline payroll.

Dave started a Payroll Manager position at a special needs educational school in Berkshire where he assisted with the payroll process and provided support with the implementation and migration of payroll to a new provider.

Joining Silver Cloud as Payroll Manager, Dave supported a client with BAU payroll support and data extraction on their existing payroll application whilst they migrated to a new provider.

After the client was successfully migrated onto their new payroll system, Dave continues to work on various other projects, including stand alone payroll projects and being the payroll expert on larger selection and implementation projects. Dave also gets involved with process mapping, especially if it involves payroll and performs payroll healthchecks for clients.
